Bungie *did* have some moments in this vein - D2 worldwide reveal event, bringing the gambit stations/prizes to GCX that one year, etc.
But it is wild that there was never an official Bungie sponsored/endorsed Destiny-Con of some kind over the years. Would've been awesome.

One thing that has me scratching my head walking away from tennocon is why the hell did bungie never do anything like this? Can you imagine a stadium arena filled with destiny fans roaring and cheering at the annual expansion reveal? Would’ve been absolutely unreal
