I am for the most part a free speech absolutist. Exceptions that seem justified are direct incitements to violence, which I abhor. But free speech carries a responsibility to bear the consequences of saying stupid & evil things including rebuke or dissociation. Never violence.

I think there needs to be a new rule on X that someone cannot respond to your or post to you and block you from responding. Those who do so are cowards first of all and more importantly they use "blocking" as a tool that debate and discourse cannot allow. Why? Because it is a tool that only breeds deception, cowardice and dissonance.

@jamestalarico I have said many times that my path with religion faded over the years. Slowly drifted farther away. 😔 When I hear James speak, I feel pulled back toward something I have missed for a long time. Toward faith. Toward grace. Toward love for other people.
