The asylum system is a joke. We are not taking in the oppressed and vulnerable. We are taking in masses of 18-35 year old men with zero background checks or vetting. We are then letting them loose on small towns and communities across the country, all the while they stay in four-star accommodation, have priority access to dentists and GPs, and we pay them for the privilege. The cherry on this cake is that we aren’t even removing the few whose claims are rejected. The asylum system is a farce and needs a complete and total overhaul.
