Right and @Amtrak just cancelled an afternoon train today from Penn and folks are on a bus instead, and this week they had to pry open my frozen train door (in Albany) with a crowbar. Guess the Metro-North thing was too good to be true.

Amtrak is restoring the full Empire Service schedule between Albany/upstate and NYC in a little over a month. With that, the prospect of extending the Metro-North to Albany disappears. Hochul said the railroad pulled authorization. No flat $80 fares for us!
