Today our CHS URI Writing students presented “Shark Tank” proposals to improve CHS. The “sharks” were local business owners & district admins. The winners pitched their plan for creating additional, quieter seating at lunch. Kudos! @CoventryOakers @coventryschools @RIDeptEd

Earlier this week, Rep. @TomNoret hosted a group of students from Blackrock Elementary School at the State House. The @coventryschools fourth-graders participated in a mock legislative session, led by Rep. Noret, where they debated and voted on several bills and learned about how laws are made.

Wishing the best of luck to our first ever Academic Decathlon team and their advisor @ErinakesKelly as they compete at the state competition today. A few will start the day with interviews and speeches before the content competitions. Such an amazing group of kids!

Once again, we are offering a Paraprofessional (Teacher Assistant) training class. To work as a Paraprofessional you need to take the class, which in turn prepares you for the test to be certified. See the flyer below and sign-up if interested.
