Vitalik Buterin sold 40 million $ASTEROID tokens that were airdropped to him by the community, and he only received $114,000.
After that, the token's market cap crashed to 1.55M. But what confuses me is that the token community interpreted Vitalik Buterin's action as a positive signal and collectively bought in, pushing the market cap back up to 16.5M at its peak.
Why is that? Can anyone tell me the reason? Because if this were on another chain, this token might have already gone to zero.

Vitalik is showing signs to support the real $ASTEROID (at 100m+ mcap)
Usually when a token gets send to Vitalik’s wallet he burns it, but the OG asteroid that got send to his wallet, he sold all of it.
Everytime we come close to 100m mcap, we get some crime buys like 4-5 hours ago. Suddenly 3 times $40k buys.
In the hindsight it was obvious

lol I don't understand how this works on $ETH:
