Not against this in the slightest. Santos' minutes have already been cut dramatically, feels like the hierarchy are positioning themselves to push him towards an exit anyway. I could see us going for either Wharton or Scott (Iraola's preferred probably) depending on other clubs.

Let me explain this, Enzo is the only creative midfielder we have, we need another creative midfielder, Caicedo, lavia and essugo can do the defensive duties Lavia is better than Santos and we will make a huge loss if we want to sell him, but we will make good profits if we sell Santos Essugo is just happy to be here, Santos will not agree to play 3 game a season like him, he’ll definitely want out We can’t sign a midfielder to the 5 we already have, 6 people competing for 2 position will be hard Enzo and Wharton creating midfielders Caicedo, lavia and essugo defensive 📌

To make this work, I think you need to bring in Van Hecke, Scott, and Ndiaye. Whilst not losing Enzo. Bring Jackson back into the fold, he’s miles clear of Delap. Not my favorite player but he’s more than capable of deputizing Joao Pedro.
