Voice messages should die. I hate everyone who sends them. When someone sends me a voice note, I don't look at it for days. It's the most selfish form of communication. You're offloading your typing time onto my listening time. You get convenience and I get locked into your pace. Can neither skim thru nor reference them later.

But in today's hyper secular-ascetic society he is thought of as a sort of decadent philanderer living a life of excess. He is not. He is also the perfect example of the folly of secular-asceticism. All his mortification of the flesh is offered to a worthless and pointless cause, so no spiritual or godly fruit is produced. The pointless sacrifice or the sacrifice being offered for an unworthy cause is what confuses people because it makes it look like he is not actually a monk. But he absolutely is. Not only is he a monk but a flagellant at that.
