@DanielRegha Agreed. Bragging about “stinkingly rich” while many can’t afford bread is tone-deaf and poor witness for Christianity. Focus on the Gospel, not constant money talk or pressuring “quality offerings.” Give what you can from the heart—no guilt needed. Stay alive first.

David Ibiyeomie bragging of being "stinkingly rich" in a country where many are struggling to afford ordinary bread is really a bad representation of what Christianity is all about; A religious public figure. Nigerian pastors often make every talk about money money money. Doing everything asides truly preaching the very gospel they claim to believe in. What is the purpose of telling his congregation how much he gives during service? And how does he make such amount? Talking about quality offerings like that's all that matters. There's nothing like quality offerings, give what you can afford but also what comes from the heart. You need to be alive to practice the faith, and that requires money. Don't let anyone pressure you.
