An inconvenient truth.

This was a dark priestess initiation ritual. It is an externalization and materialization of the rite of the Black Sun, and a mockery of resurrection principles. Within dark occultism, traumatic dissociation is interchangeable with “enlightenment.” It is the complete inversion of alchemy. Alchemy is a process of physical and spiritual purification. Lower qualities are transmuted through Higher moral impulses into a more purified form. Dark occultists are not interested in purification. For them, suffering is not an invitation into divine transmutation, but rather, a mechanism for traumatic dissociation. Instead of purifying the self, the Higher Self is forcibly dissociated (detached) from the physical body. The Higher Self is “channeled” from the etheric body into the physical body. The etheric body is the subtle body that provides the physical body with its “life force.” When this dissociation takes place, the physical body is no longer receiving nourishment from Higher forces and begins to degrade both physically and spiritually. Just as we have a Higher Self, we also have a “lower” self, which will be referred to here as the “lower doppelgänger.” This is Rudolf Steiner’s terminology for a well-documented phenomena, and I find his description to be the most accurate. Referring again to alchemy and alchemical principles, let us briefly discuss what is known as the “etherization of the blood.” “Etherization” refers to the Spiritualization of the physical human form into a Higher, etheric form. It represents the gradual transition of matter back into Spirit via transmutation. The blood is filled with astral forces that must be purified as they pass through the heart. The heart, in this way, acts as a sort of alchemical furnace, burning away lower impulses in a blaze of holy fire. This process requires alignment with Christ and the Christ impulse. This is where dogmatic Christianity had adopted the idea of inviting Jesus into one’s heart. However, dogma outsources the alchemical process to Christ as an external savior rather than awakening within us the pattern of our own ascension process through Christ. Within dark occultism, this process is “reversed,” leading to what I refer to as “reverse etherization.” It is more accurate to say that etherization is simply not occurring, however the alchemical process has inverted in such a way as to produce a similar result manifested in the lowest possible form— through the symbolic “exaltation” of the Lower double. Instead of astral forces being transmuted into a finer etheric substance, they become inflamed until the dissociation of the etheric body is so severe that the initiate undergoes a sort of “possession” by their lower double. This may be understood as having been possessed by one’s shadow self, and fueled by all of the rage, pain, hatred, jealousy, envy, and grief that has never been transmuted. This state also makes one heavily prone to lower astral influences. In fact, I would argue that it is impossible to sustain such a state without the influence of lower, traumagenic forms. Dark occult forces seek out these individuals because their pride, selfishness, unhealed pain and chronic dissociation makes them easier to feed off of, and control. Dark occult rites such as these are intended to create such immense dissociation that the initiate is “emptied” of all Higher impulses and therefore made a ready vessel for these forces. The female is selected because of ability to act as a portal and channel, making her possession all the more profound.
