Everyday things can require more of my time and energy, so both are precious resources and I’m mindful of where they’re allocated. I recognise that it’s imperative that I have enough time and energy for things that are important and/or necessary, so it can feel distressing when it feels like my time and/or energy have been or are being wasted.

ADHD is in large part a problem of self-motivation mixed in with the immense capacity for flow when engaging in things that have immediate feedback and consequence.
