@TicTacTitans Nagy is a solid hiring Candidate. His resume is pretty good and he's been under Andy Reid since he was let go by the Bears. I wouldn't be upset with the hire nor would I think this was malpractice by the Titans.

I don’t think the Titans job was/is as desirable as we all thought it was…

@GeneSteratore If the game isn’t played in a slow motion or frame by frame then why have replay?

At some point when reviewing plays, the league should consider adding a speed threshold for anything involving the element of time. When you slow plays down to 1/100th the speed, it distorts what actually happened and makes it look like, in this case, Cooks possessed the ball for seconds prior to losing it. The game is not played in slow motion or frame by frame. For a catch: A) Secure control of the ball ✅ B) Two feet down in bounds ✅ C) After (a) and (b) have been fulfilled, clearly performs any act common to the game (e.g., extend the ball forward, take an additional step, tuck the ball away and turn upfield, or avoid or ward off an opponent), or he maintains control of the ball long enough to do so. C is where there is a judgement needed since A and B are clearly met. Now consider this note to the rule: If a player, who satisfied (a) and (b), but has not satisfied (c), contacts the ground and loses control of the ball, it is an incomplete pass if the ball hits the ground before he regains control, or if he regains control out of bounds. Because Cooks did lose control of the ball when he contacted the ground and the ball never contacted the ground, it was ruled an interception by Denver.

Do you know how many good stories we could get from the Titans plane ride home from San Francisco?

@MikeHerndonSk1 Do you think teams between 5-10 are willing to trade up for their guy this year and give up a 2027 years first? That’s reported being the best class to come out in a while.

Being able to trade back from 1.1 and still land in the 5-10 range while picking up a 2027 first from a bad team could be the difference between getting Jeremiah Smith in Tennessee or not.

I don't take any joy in being "that guy" here, but the Titans getting the #1 overall pick would be a pretty huge deal for the rebuild. The difference in value between picking first and fifth is 1,300 points on the Jimmy Johnson trade chart, which is the equivalent of the 10th overall pick. So, in other words, dropping from 1 to 5 in the draft order would be like giving away a top-10 pick for nothing. Fortunately, they're pretty well positioned to make that happen with a 47% chance of getting the top pick according to The Athletic's simulators. Vegas is probably the biggest threat given how terrible they are and how tough their remaining schedule is. Given that all of the teams with 2 wins or fewer play at least one game against another team with 2 wins or fewer over the next six weeks, the Titans winning one more and finishing 2-15, would guarantee them a top-3 pick. But getting 1.1 would be massive, particularly given the makeup of this draft class and the next.

@PaulKuharskyNFL @NissanStadium I think the overall concern now should be is that the Titans are building a $1.2 billion dollar stadium that is almost identical to the Bears renderings, the Raiders and others using the same architect company. We can’t even build a stadium that has our own identity.

#Titans may be selling new @NissanStadium, but they are horribly out of touch. A friend of mine responded to a sales text with a complaint about firing Mike Vrabel and putting themselves in a rebuilding situation. Imagine the logic that goes into this reply that says "our fan base is very happy" with an exclamation mark. We see how they gauge your happiness.
