Well it's certainly not a comparable "product" really. If you want to run AI equipment your base investment is also a multiple of the mining capex both in infra and equipment.
The play nowadays is clearly not to just build a DC and buy grid power to mine but rather become a part of energy infrastructure and create additional revenue streams.

AI hurts Bitcoin's hash rate a bit. HODLers now are real conviction.
AI and high-performance compute (HPC) currently generate 3x to 8x higher revenue per MW — and up to 25x more revenue per kWh — through stable, multi-year contracts with 85%+ gross margins.
If Bitcoin hits $120k around 2028 at the halvening, AI/HPC is projected to be 8x to 25x more profitable than Bitcoin mining on a per-MW basis.
50% of investable dollars are in institutions and they have clear mandates and career risk — nobody wants to get fired for buying the wrong thing.

French utility giant Engie (ENGI FP, mkt cap $75B) is considering Bitcoin mining in Brazil due to constant curtailment of renewable loads. Transmission bottlenecks have cost billions in lost revenue. BTC mining "can help convert stranded power into a monetizable asset"

@mattyryze My average is around 700. Funny how much the effects vary between people. Some folks can't have caffeine after lunch and then others like myself (and you I suspect) can drink 200mg and take a nap.

my daily dose of coffee is 940 mg. this dude took 600 and had to be hospitalized. do I wish I were world-class at something legendary like wrestling, instead of just drinking coffee? of course. but isn’t it so interesting that there are levels to every game. 🤣

I fucked up and accidentally took two heaping tablespoons of instant coffee, One serving is a teaspoon. I have about 600mg of caffeine in me currently so I am either going to have the most generational lock in or have a heart attack Stay tuned
