By unanimous consent, the #HoC adopted a motion regarding the extension on the moratorium on repaying student loans from October 1, 2020 to May 31, 2021.
This morn @Laurel_BC presented our petition with the @CFSFCEE calling for pandemic relief & stimulus for post-secondary students & recent grads. Thank you the nearly 10K people who signed the petition! We look forward to the government response & will continue to call for action.

Students & recent graduates have been devastated by COVID-19. Today I brought forward a motion calling on the gov't to extend the loan repayment moratorium until 2021. The motion passed with unanimous consent! This is the good news that recent graduates needed! #cdnpoli
