Oh the irony of the man who spends his entire professional life singling out Israel for opprobrium writing this about the new Telegraph owners spelling out their core support for Israel: "Out of 193 UN member states, only one is singled out in this way."

The Abraham Global Peace Initiative (AGPI) condemns the actions of Pedro Sánchez, who has crossed every diplomatic line by withdrawing Spain’s ambassador from Israel while reopening its embassy in Tehran. His call on the European Union to suspend its Association Agreement with Israel further underscores a deeply troubling and one-sided agenda. Such moves reflect a profound moral inversion at a time requiring clarity and leadership. His harsh anti-Israel rhetoric says far more about his political posture than it does about Israel. AGPI urges Spain to reconsider this dangerous course.

Most Ukrainians want the country’s nuclear status restored and do not believe that US guarantees will protect against a second Russian invasion. Three-quarters of Ukrainians support restoring the country’s nuclear status: half call for reestablishing its own nuclear arsenal (49%), while the remaining prefer nuclear-free status only if protected by nuclear allies (26%). Additionally, 79% of Ukrainians believe that the US will not fulfill its security obligations if a new Russian attack occurs on Ukraine after signing the peace agreement.

@Huxx777 No, I think the outage is that a group that had been less than 3% of the population a hundred years before thought they had a right to an independent state in that same area.

@History__Speaks I remember Karlin recently saying that the US was clearly winning the war since they had killed 3000 Iranians while only 15 Americans had been killed…

The healthy way to respond to this is not “it’s all propaganda and antisemitism.” There’s a genuine shift occurring. Americans don’t feel this war was launched in our interest. If they’re right, a continuation of a trend of Israel’s growing unpopularity is an understandable and rational response. If they’re wrong, folks need to make that case. But it’s a very hard case to make if the result of this was the regime stays in place and controls the strait + gets a new revenue source to rebuild. All at the expense of America’s relationship with nearly every other country on Earth besides Israel.

Americans as a whole realize that Israel is not a good ally. 60% is a solid majority, and it's only going to grow. A breakup of some kind is coming.

If Trump announces a peace deal with Iran, the same people who tell you he’s going to nuke Iran are going to immediately switch their argument to the peace deal isn’t good enough.

Tune in for the next exciting episode...
