@Suzierizzo1 Republicans in Dallas County, chose to run their primaries separately at the precinct level for the March election, forcing Democrats to do the same.
The change left thousands of voters confused over where they were supposed to go March 3. Some voters were turned away.

@Suzierizzo1 I spent 19 years in Texas, there were no separate polling places. You voted at a machine. You chose which party you're affiliated with. That poor woman was on the receiving end of Greg Abbott's mess. He's as bad as Trump. I'm so sorry they treated you like you're less than.

@Suzierizzo1 Yes this happened in the primary & it was GOP fault. They decided that D’s & R’s would have to go to designated polling places it was switched at the last minute & people didn’t know where to go. It was intentional, they run TX for last 30 yrs.

This woman lives in a Texas & she went to vote at her normal poling place & they told her it was only for Republicans & that she had to drive 3 miles down the road to a Democratic poling place which she said had outdated machines unlike the first place & only a few pill workers!
