NEW: North Charleston police releases statement on violent juvenile disturbances in Chicora/Cherokee area
According to police, officers responded to several incidents where large groups of juveniles were fighting, damaging property, and assaulting responding officers.
Viral footage from one incident shows a female officer being surrounded and physically attacked by multiple juveniles during a disturbance.
Police say some juveniles used fireworks against officers during the chaos. Several juveniles were taken into custody.
The department noted these types of large, unruly teen gatherings have become an increasing problem and are putting both the public and officers at risk.

7 people were shot at Coligny Beach Park (photo on right) on Hilton Head Island, SC yesterday.
Normally the police in Hilton Head are able to keep the criminals off the island in Bluffton but apparently they were able to cross the bridge and bring their enrichment to the previously peaceful Hilton Head beach.
Jayden Hawes (18), Marcello Royal (17), & Quazeir Davis (17), & Christopher Caperts (17) have been arrested.
Travel accordingly...

Joking about race can be very hard for some people and I get that. For me I grew up on Sanford and Son, All in the Family, and The Jeffersons so I don’t buy into the PC crap of today. If you can’t handle it, that’s a personal problem.
