50 years ago my dad and some friends went to Dangerfield’s Comedy Club in NYC. My dad and Rodney Dangerfield hit it off and had a long conversation. My dad had Rodney call my mom on the phone and tell her what a great guy her husband was. My mom said they both sounded hammered.

Ben Carson was raised by a poor single mother, and he turned into a top brain surgeon. Regardless of his politics everyone should be celebrating that to show what's possible in America with hard work.

Back in the mid 70’s my parents took a vacation in the Catskills. The local nightclub had Don Rickles performing. Being the only black people there my dad who Rickles referred to as Leroy ended up getting roasted with black jokes for almost an hour. It was a different time.

1:00 my grandma buys a lottery ticket 5:00 she writes the winning numbers down on a napkin from the news 7-9 a few drinks 11:00 pm - news replays winning numbers, perfect match to the napkin. We think we just won 4 million dollars. 1 am We check the real ticket, not one #.
