Current situation South Africa, a geographically large country with a rural population of millions of people. Many areas don't even have a cellphone signal, let alone internet. Elon: We can give you high-speed web access in all rural areas for less than what your local suppliers are currently asking in cities. ANC: Sounds great, but you are white. I’ve seen firsthand how discriminatory BEE policies can be. I met Afrikaners who were required to train their replacements, only to be let go because they are white.
