It's hard to explain how I feel about it, but it's all about accentuating an inertia that dictates all the forms we can see and what we as humans treat as forms, but it's these forms existing in the real world that formed our sense of inertia in the first place. It says to me: let's blur the lines on and between forms so you can see how much momentum really takes a part of what and how you interpret what you see, and maybe even call out that sense of momentum on its own by keeping the momentum but losing and shifting between forms, something you normally can't experience because form is usually so strict in the real world. Am I close? :D

@ericlefaure i love the smooth interplay between all the different forms you depict. the forms are exciting on their own - they're evocative of many different symbols all at once and the transition from one form to another, to me, mirrors the interconnectedness of all things.

@ericlefaure There's just something shockingly alien about your work. You say theres an obvious story here but it's so utterly foreign to me that I simply can't understand it- but I do feel the undeniable logic underneath it, a consistant language I can't learn but I do feel.

@iam0berly0 The message is nothing but sensations, I'm trying to make you feel what I feel. That's an unreachable goal of course, and that's why I love abstraction: you're going to fill it with your own experience!

@ericlefaure Clearest example of abstract animation! Most animation is figurative or expressionist. With a clear narrative. You have mastered the shapes with forms and meaning but hidden in messaging. 🤌

@lewesherriot There is indeed a demiurgic act in animation, the etymology says it all. I suppose abstraction can make us see the rawness of this act.

@ericlefaure I see a lot of art as a human trying to reconnect or spar with nature. Water that flows, lights that flicker, birds that flock. Our lines, when superfluid, resemble nature's hand at work. Thats what I think whenever I see your work. And then I wonder what it means to you.

@thehienaart Yeah motion in itself conveys so much, I like the balance between its objective side (physics) and the meaning we can pour into it.
