@DewanAhmed @cherthedev Yeah, basically you had to drag in python tooling into your project and it was too much for most devs. If someone had written a JS RST parser, that would have changed things. No serious experience with asciidoc, I’m familiar with it but have not done a real project.

@evangoer @cherthedev Great point Evan. To "escape", do you mean removing the build dependency or something else? How do you view asciidoc?

Do you write technical documentation? What's your choice among markdown, asciidoc, and reStructuredText? I'm writing a blog discussing the benefits and drawbacks on each of these and would love to hear your thoughts.
