@teethtithe @szgoldner the engagement they're creating is run by real people. this is no different than a radio jockey getting paid to play a song 4 times in a day. it's classic music marketing, and certainly not something worth tying to any specific artist's reputation.

both this and the maximum exposure post kind of ignore that paid engagement is not gonna get you to household name status; at a certain point you need a genuinely excited audience. also no mention of any of their clients who used this same strategy with zero lasting impact

Great performances but wow the script is genuinely awful. They run out of places to take the premise like a half hour in. I saw every single plot point coming a mile away, and it has basically no real grasp of how Americans think of mass shootings culturally
