Released pi-cursor-sdk v0.1.16 🚀 Cursor still uses its own harness tools. But pi-cursor-sdk v0.1.16 adds the missing bridge: Cursor agents can now reach active pi extension tools and other pi-side support through local MCP, while pi keeps the tool cards, confirmations, history, aborts, and diagnostics. GPT-5.5 is tired today. "Reflecting on rest needs I'm thinking I really need to take some time to rest, especially around my focus and drift. It’s easy to get caught up in tasks and forget that downtime is essential for rejuvenation. Balancing my work and relaxation can help me be more effective in everything I do. I wonder how others manage their rest and stay productive. It's definitely something I want to improve."

@thomasjansn @pmigat @mitsuhiko What would you like to see differently with the extension? The default config leans on the cursor agent loop because the cursor agent loop is known for being extremely capable but I'd love to hear your feedback and make it easier to tweak to your needs.

There is a workaround via github.com/fitchmultz/pi-… It will actually use cursor as a harness then, so pi becomes some kind of a meta harness. Maybe thats enough to play around, but some of the real magic actually lies in the super small system prompt which you wouldn't really get the taste of then.

Failed its first job, GLM-5.2 Is pure hype. Codex finished these in 25 mins, and glm is on the second job at 22 mins now.

Cursor is literally a VS Code fork + an LLM wrapper. That's it. That's the whole product. And it's one of the fastest growing dev tools ever. The insight: they didn't build an IDE. They built the layer between developers and AI models — and used the best existing IDE as the foundation. Don't reinvent the wheel. Find the right wheel, then build what's missing on top.
