You do realize people that are not connected as victims or witnesses are not going to be brought up in the trial. Erika is being used by the defense because she is a victim in the case. This violates Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (42 U.S.C. § 2000d et seq.), which prohibits racial discrimination in federally funded programs, as well as Arizona’s parallel obligations. Arizona law requires school boards to prescribe and enforce policies prohibiting harassment, intimidation, and bullying that could create a hostile environment (A.R.S. § 15-341(A)(36)). Schools cannot knowingly expose students to content that promotes hate or discrimination under the guise of “viewpoint diversity.” Failure to act would also risk violating the Fourteenth Amendment’s Equal Protection Clause and Arizona anti-discrimination requirements. If the District allows this while denying other speakers on neutral grounds, it would compound viewpoint discrimination issues—yet here the content itself triggers liability. 4. This is an absolute garbage headline from CBS, which didn't even bother to reach out to us for comment. 1 - Of course there was no issue with the venue, if there was we would have canceled the entire event. The venue was deemed secure and we trusted the Secret Service to protect the VP and secure the perimeter, but protecting Erika is not the Secret Service's job, that's what our security is responsible for. 2 - The threats were related to Erika's travel, not the venue. There are lunatics following her around constantly. 3 - In the days leading up to the event we had to constantly change her itinerary and locations because threats where made against her specifically and her location was getting doxxed. 4 - The threats were ultimately deemed severe enough that her security said "we cannot guarantee your safety, we recommend you don't move forward with doing the event." When they say that to a woman whose husband has just been assassinated, you listen.
