We still control the oil, with or without the strait. Kargh Island exists today only because we decided to spare it. Oh, and let's not forget that we know the precise location of every ship in their navy at all times. They know ours as well. This rules out any direct conflict in a naval battle. Each of us has an over-the-horizon attack capability at 1000 miles or more.

@DVATW Let's ignore the cowards for a moment. But serious question: What happens when a chinese ship breaks through the blockade and would be forced to stop by violence? Mr. Xi might not like that...

@Globalsurv Kargh Island is effectively ours. If China tries to muscle through the strait, they'll be pulling up to empty terminals. All China needs to do is wait. Oil flow will resume sooner rather than later, and so the most economical thing for them to do is wait.

🇨🇳🇮🇷🇺🇲CHINA has issued a strong warning to US reinstating that China has an energy agreement with IRAN and it ships will not be intercepted. Chinese Defense Ministry: ‘Chinese ships continue to move in and out of the waters of the Strait of Hormuz. We have trade and energy agreements with Iran, which we will respect and abide by. We expect others not to interfere in our affairs. Iran controls the Strait of Hormuz, and has opened it to us.’

Over 50 former staffers of U.S. Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-CA) are calling for his immediate resignation and exit from the race for California governor. “The (sexual assault) allegations reported by the San Francisco Chronicle and CNN are serious, credible, and demand responsibility.”

Don Tzu. Whoever made this understood the Hormuz situation better than most think tanks. Someone made this and I need to know who. Beer’s on me. Who is the OP?

@gummibear737 Folks, this is what courage looks like. Trump took Iran's Hormuz leverage away from them in an instant. It's brilliant. Iran FA'd, and now it's time to FO.

What Trump is basically doing is holding the ceasefire hostage and daring Iran to break it If Iran does nothing then along w/blockade of Iranian ships they'll start escort convoys and dare Iran to do something If Iran attacks, then Trump has cause to escalate with prejudice

Question to my followers from outside Europe. The EU has now introduced biometric face scans and fingerprinting for visitors from outside the EU. So Americans for example visiting a country in the EU must provide face scans and fingerprints upon entry. Do you like this?

@phat3lvis @WallStreetApes Root Cause: Handing out free money. Colleges raised their tuition, knowing that someone else was paying for it (the taxpayers). When too much money chases too few resources, prices go up. STOP THE MONEY.

There is a really simple fix: end the student loan program and watch how fast Universities, colleges, and trade schools drop their prices, and cut the fat out of their administrations. Here is a fun fact for you: Yale has so much money in their endowment they dont even have to charge students for an education, yet they are one of the most expensive universities in the country.

American has $197,000 in student loans The interest rate is 5.12%, which means she is accruing about $10,086 of interest every single year on her student loans That’s $840 a month just in interest just to break even without paying anything on the loan “It feels so crushing” Student loans in America are predatory. Americans cannot pay these back and they’ll be trapped in debt forever

Coming to the UK from overseas is a privilege, not a right. Any foreign national with a history of crime and violence is not welcome. If you pose a risk to our country, you will be refused entry or removed.

BREAKING: Court documents reveal that Australian government war crimes investigators do not even have the NAMES of two individuals Ben Roberts-Smith is alleged to have killed in Afghanistan almost 20 years ago. Nobody has managed to identify these alleged victims - even after $300 million was spent on war crimes investigations over five years. Australian Office of Special Investigations director Ross Barnett already revealed that investigators have: - No crime scenes - No access to the deceased - No bodies - No post-mortem report - No official cause of death - No recovery of projectiles to link to weapons that might have been carried by members of the ADF - No photographs - No site plans - No measurements - No recovery of projectiles - No blood spatter Now we know that after nearly $300 million and 5 years of investigation, they do not even have the NAMES of two alleged victims. If there is no name, no identification, no body - how do we even know they were killed? Does anybody actually think this is fair? Does anybody actually think that a criminal conviction - proved to a criminal standard, beyond reasonable doubt - is remotely possible in these circumstances? Daily Mail: ''Two of the five men Ben Roberts-Smith is accused of murdering while serving with the Special Air Service in Afghanistan have never been identified by war crimes investigators. Court documents seen by the Daily Mail show one of the Victoria Cross recipient's alleged victims is described only as 'Person Under Control 1', or alternatively 'Enemy Killed in Action 3'.''
