@gcdaiko Portugal boast of their own army of legends, Ronaldo being one. But let's not lie and say he was SUCH a great change. I gave Netherlands as a comparable example because they have always been strong but lack the trophies to speak for them.

Why do people act like Portugal is some weak footballing nation? Just because they didn't have trophies pre-Ronaldo doesn't mean he was the great change the needed. They are a lot like Netherlands (a strong nation with hardly the success to back it) but have had better results.

@MulattoOrfeu2nd Middle eastern teams are always bad when it comes to world cups. Cuz they are not ready for that type of tournaments with a lot of pressure and physical requirements. You can't compare their Asian cup performances with World cup they are too different two things
