How to deal with a journalist: a short 🧵 We are "on the record" by default. If you don't want any of what you say to end up in a story, or conveyed to other people, tell them "off the record" from the start.

Firefighter Michael Altman passed away in the line of duty after battling a fire in Rogers Park. Our hearts are with his family and the CFD as we grieve the loss of this hero. I’ve ordered our flags to fly at half-staff in his honor. May his memory be a blessing.

Doctor @drkirkmoore is withdrawing from the Great Barrington Declaration, cowritten by @MartinKulldorff & @NIHDirector_Jay, having concluded "the entire Covid-19 pandemic narrative rests upon fraudulent science, data manipulation, and false attribution of disease causation."

@Rightanglenews You can't say something that happened yesterday is "breaking." That's a lie. Language has to mean something, and you being a day late means you can't say "breaking."

BREAKING - A San Francisco Superior Court judge, Linda Colfax, has suspended the already light eight year sentence of Antoine Watson, a black man who killed an 84 year old man in an unprovoked 2021 attack, citing his “traumatic childhood” as justification for her ruling.

🔥You know you are doing something right when Reuters, Axios, and Politico all cover you within 24 hours. 📰 On March 20th, @ICANdecide filed a formal petition demanding that HHS add over 300 vaccine injuries to the federal Vaccine Injury Compensation Program's Vaccine Injury Table. The table has not been updated since 2017. Every injury on the list was already acknowledged by the federal government itself in its commissioned reports, agency publications, and FDA-approved vaccine manufacturer package inserts. Now watch how the legacy media frames it. Reuters calls ICAN an "anti-vaccine group." Axios calls Aaron Siri's legal interpretation "ridiculous," quoting from an attorney who is simultaneously leading the legal effort to block the Trump administration's vaccine policy reforms. Politico raises the specter of the midterm elections, suggesting that recognizing vaccine-injured Americans might be politically inconvenient. (reut.rs/41B6wlS, bit.ly/4tx6Oqf, bit.ly/41vcHrF) All three outlets found space to quote legal and academic experts warning that recognizing more vaccine injuries could be dangerous, inconvenient, or legally unsound. Not one of them paused to ask whether the current system might be dangerous, inconvenient, or legally unsound for the people who were injured. Here is what they will not tell you. The legal standard for inclusion on the Vaccine Injury Table is association, not proven causation. Congress chose that word deliberately in 1986. In exchange for stripping vaccine-injured Americans of their right to a jury trial, an Article III judge, and the ability to sue manufacturers directly, Congress promised a compensation system that would recognize injuries the government itself had already acknowledged. That promise has been broken for decades. The experts quoted to discredit this petition are the same class of voices who have spent years insisting the system works just fine, while the injured went unrecognized, uncompensated, and gaslit by the very institutions that were supposed to protect them. 🛑The 60-day clock is running. If HHS does not act, a federal lawsuit will follow. And none of this would be possible without the supporters who have funded this work for ten years. From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you. The injured have not been forgotten, and we are not stopping. Join us. 👇 bit.ly/ICAN_VICP_Dema…

The esteemed AMA: “We met and decided we weren't going to align with the evidence, but we also weren’t going to tell anyone unless the press asked. And when they asked, we responded with our very clear messaging but the National Review somehow got our very clear messaging completely wrong. Then we waited until a Congressional hearing in March to ‘set the record straight.’”

Is the AMA Telling the Truth About Their Expressed Positions on Youth Gender Surgeries? The American Medical Association to the @StrackHaley at the National Review @NRO on Feb. 3: "[T]he AMA agrees with ASPS that surgical interventions in minors should be generally deferred to adulthood." The @AmerMedicalAssn today: "We responded" to questions about the American Society of Plastic Surgeon's opposition to pediatric gender-transition surgeries "only after being contacted by media outlets, using the language approved by the board. While some media coverage characterized this as agreement with the ASPS statement, that phrasing did not come from the AMA."

So in addition to the fabricated sexual harassment claim, the $65,000 number is also made up? I don’t care what your views on Prasad are, but should all agree our major media companies are no better than the tabloids.
