Day 14 #js13k A look at my tiny (retro!) 3D Model Editor in action. I have all the functions needed to create minimal-byte mesh objects now, inc: - Vertex/Edge creation & deletion - Simple vertex editing & info - Import/Export JSON - Inbuilt model slots (& local browser storage)

Day 13 #js13k More iteration & cleanup, organizing the UI a bit better. This editor is required as I need a way to modify mesh data + develop a tiny model format along the way. (The editor itself wont be included in the final game, this is simply a model editing utility)

4/ #aframe #js13k I can now crash my desktop the same way I crash the VR headset's browser, but I have access to Chrome's Dev Tool to investigate the error.

3/n #aframe #js13k This allows me to simulate the absent VR controllers on desktop by painstakingly applying these states in the right order to recreate a series of actions happening in a VR session (e.g. a hand grabs a gun, then the other hand grabs a portal)

1/n Smol #aframe #js13k tip for simulating VR controllers on desktop I manage controller events by applying states onto the scene or an entity e.g. obbcollisionstarted with portal entity -> add 'hovering-portal' to controller entity, triggerdown -> add 'grabbing' to controller
