@herem13 @juanctoribio Yeah but respectfully, those things have nothing to do with the call in question. He can be 96% correct, and the DR could have squandered numerous chances, and it could have been an egregious missed call at a pivotal moment all at the same time. None are mutually exclusive.

Agree with this… Juan is letting his fandom cloud his judgement! He’s also forgetting even if the call is reversed doesn’t guarantee a DR victory. So to pretend the one call cost them the game isn’t exactly accurate. They had multiple chances but came up empty. To solely pin it on the up is in fact soft!

You’re missing the point. Busch was on fire during his cup of coffee with the Dodgers after being league MVP in AAA… both things Rushing hasn’t done. My point is that rushing’s stock is very low at this point. Did he hit above .200 last season in the show? Barnes was better than that! Now rushings ceiling is much higher, but right now he’s not going to net any sort of decent return, and for that matter, you should just keep him! Because he used to be good doesn’t mean he “deserves” to be traded! I understand the value of prospects but moving him now gets you 1 when 2 years ago when the hype was high, you would have gotten 3 or 4

The way contracts work, it's not about what someone "deserves", it's what the Dodgers think are in their best interest.
Rushing would start in some places, but having one of the best backup catchers is worth something to LA...
