This one hurt different. A 15-year-old kid… gone after a basketball game. But by someone who looks just like him. And that’s the part nobody wants to talk about. I didn’t move my son out the environment I grew up in because I was scared of the police… I moved him because I was scared of this. The reality where I gotta raise my child… and at the same time hope another child don’t take his life. That’s not okay. That’s a crisis. And where are the politicians now? A 15-year-old Jaden Pierre was brutally beaten by a group of teens and then fatally shot to death in broad daylight at a Queens playground The incident began as a dispute on the basketball court that escalated into a fight Pierre was punched and kicked by multiple attackers before one pulled a gun and shot him once in the chest at close range. NYPD officers responded to a 911 call and found the teen gravely wounded. He was rushed to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
