i need all u girls to get ur iron profile done the next time u go for blood tests. ALL my problems (allergy, dark circles, period cramps, tiredness, anxiety, pale asf skin etc) got a lot better when i only took supplements prescribed by my dermat for just 15 days.

@fairyfrogfart @etherealstellaa your monthly bleed is actually a very intelligent iron recycling system. women who lose their cycle can very quickly become overloaded with iron

@etherealstellaa And the fact you lose nutrients (like iron) in the blood loss too!!! Like I was planning on using those nutrients and now I need to take supplements so I don’t become anemic :/

I hate having a menstrual cycle because what do you mean I can LOOK more ugly and more bloated and feel worse depending on that? What do you mean I have about 10 good days a month?? Because of hormones?? What bro who made this up.

@invysas if it makes you any feel better, blood loss from your wisdom teeth is rarely significant enough to affect your iron stores. still a nightmare combination

Too many women are anemic just from their period. I accept that I'll be taking iron supplements for the rest of my life.

The most unnecessary part of the period is the blood itself. Bleeding nonstop for days every single month is too danm much. Every woman who has a period, whether it is light or short, should be taking an iron supplement regularly.

This is the worst period I have had in years, I forgot how terrible my periods were when I was younger like the night sweats, extreme dehydration, bloating, intense dizziness and fatigue. It’s like getting a virus every month. How the fuck is this considered “normal”?

Energy fall out from the blood tests and coil check yesterday. Woke up middle of the night and arms were like lead, felt floored all day today. Trying to handle it with bouts of 2hr dark room, eyes closed decompressions but my god they're so boring 😭 #anemiarecuperationdiaries

@EdaG889915 I had like about a week of stiffness and body pain but then no other symptoms. I don’t even know that that was the nickel detox or something else. I’m taking pectasol and pectaclear. I thought the detox would be worse. But I only eat beef muscle meat for the last 5 years.

Nickel in the gallbladder may act as a "seed" for the formation of gallstones. Be watchful for symptoms of gallbladder attacks or gallstones while detoxing nickel (nausea and vomiting, pain under right ribcage front or back, in worst case scenario jaundice)

@bioenergeticmel "fixing" your nervous system rarely starts with supplements. being low in calcium magnesium sodium potassium tend to make people really reactive to supplements

I want to fix my nervous system but I have weird paradoxical reactions to magnesium glycinate, l-theanine, glycine, B vitamins, melatonin etc so I’m kinda stuck and don’t know what to do anymore because I react to everything

I think ginseng Is High in heavy metals like aswanahanda but not as much. Gives me that heavy metal feeling even after a heavy metal detox. So I'll take it with my heavy metal smoothie and lower the dose.

Instead of being told 'you are reacting abnormally to normal hormones', women with PMDD should be told 'you are reacting exactly as expected given the high stress you've experienced'. Then helped to shift into a generative, healing state.

@rosegarden826 @tahiniok @AlpacaAurelius horrible symptoms after ovulation are almost always due to estrogen dominance in relation to progesterone. what you see on a generic graph isn't always what YOUR body is doing

the worst for me is precisely around progesterone spike which is mid luteal phase. pms is primarily driven by progesterone. all the graphs indicate it being the highest. estrogen somewhat rises as well but as not nearly as much as progesterone in luteal phase. estrogen drives (primes rather) ovulation and shows a major spike snd of follicular phase - i do not suffer with it.

Ladies, you need to be babymaxxxxing...especially later in life. Women who had a child after the age of 40 were FOUR TIMES more likely to live to 100. Pregnancies massively increase progesterone, the most healing female hormone.

I also fear, since my blood test was pretty normal. that when I go to the doctor again on the 20th he won't diagnose me with pcos or anything and I wont get meds or help and continue suffering in silence again for the nest who knows how many years when it has been 8 years already

I joke around but I really am nervous for my pelvic ultrasound tmr, of course part of it is from being a virgin & being naked in front of someone but the results scare me. I have been suffering with symptoms I assumed to be pcos but it could be something worse inside of me
