Any advice or perspectives would be appreciated 🫶

Context: I used to be very overweight (90+ kg at 13/14 years old) and would constantly overeat when I was bored. I also have naturally high levels of food noise due to genetics. I have family members on GLP-1s due to obesity and struggling with overeating.

I need to ask for advice 🙏 #edtwt How do you recover from restrictive eating without developing binge eating behaviours? Also what does binge eating look/feel like? How do you know if it’s normal overeating or just indulging in a high cal treat? ⬇️

I made hommus using soy beans so it’s extra high protein!! It’s also ridiculously delicious

@xobunnielou lol no I just have some Canadian extended family so we eat it at Christmas! It’s a more common food in Canada because of polish immigration (fun fact!). You must try it sometime!!

@whosalfonso That is the most enticing description I’ve ever heard … I did a quick google & it’ll be hard to buy where I live in Australia :( it might occasionally be part of the rotating stock at a couple of specialty cheesemongers, so I hope I can try it someday 🙏

@lovebuglumi I highly recommend!! The only downside to homemade hommus is that now I refuse to eat pre-made supermarket hommus because it tastes too flavourless and processed in comparison lol
