Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie is a world class writer. I have read most of what she has written. If I had to rank the works that have had an impact on me, starting with what I consider her epic, it would be like this: Half of a Yellow Sun Purple Hibiscus The Danger of a Single Story Notes on Grief Americanah The Thing Around Your Neck Currently reading Dream Count. It's a good book and I urge people to buy and read it but it's nowhere near Half of a Yellow Sun. But then that would be an impossibly high bar to scale! She wrote that book with her blood. Adichie has done well for literature!
