You hear Labor and the Greens talk about ‘white privilege’ but never about this. In Campbell Town, Tasmania, there’s a convict brick trail that tells the real story. Each brick carries the name of a convict, one of nearly 200,000 men, women and children sent here from 1788 onwards. They were white. They were poor. And they were punished for trying to survive. Torn from their homes. Shipped across the world. Beaten, imprisoned, worked to the bone. So much of modern Australia was built on their backs. Their pain. Their sacrifice. But their story is being wiped from the history books because it doesn’t suit the narrative. That’s a disgrace. Next time someone throws around the term “white privilege”, show them these bricks. Because this country was built from these bricks. On May 3rd, vote for the only party willing to speak the truth. One Nation stands for the Australians the major parties would rather forget.
