@iivygrows @jayhops @littleliviebel No I’m confirming that Taylor isn’t an artist but a brand. Olivia didn’t do anything wrong. She gave Taylor a credit because Taylor felt entitled to it and used her power to get it. It’s sad. Taylor’s really been wicked and greedy from the start.

@jayhops @littleliviebel Annie actually wrote on Cruel Summer she didn’t get credit just because of her song Cruel. There’s no credit to be denied from her. Annie worked with Olivia on Obsessed because of the whole ordeal. Annie has yet to work with Taylor again after the incident.

Why would she then betray herself by refusing her credit which would in turn have also denied Annie the credit. Taylor did the right thing when she was in Olivia’s position.

@littleliviebel Everybody seems to be missing the point. Taylor didn’t sue Olivia. But she didn’t have to accept the credits either. She happily did and there’s a reason why Olivia no longer idolizes her. Taylor is a greedy capitalist.

Also, lot of songs sound similar but there isn’t much litigation because artists know this and expect that when it happens because you consciously drew inspiration you give credit. Going in a press run citing sources verbally is borderline unprofessional. Where were the adults?
