@jayhops For me it’s generally about how much I listen to songs on the album, if the album had a positive impression on me, how much I even like the songs, how interesting the songs are and if they form a complete narrative without feeling like 12 or so songs mashed together into an album

@TTPDoftheNorth Fair enough. There are some albums I consider strong but don't listen to nearly as much as others.

For me it’s both. For example I love TTPD dearly but a lot of parts of it are a HARD listen in terms of putting me in a sad/depressive head space so I don’t replay a lot of the songs. I think like most things in this fandom, TTPD is benefiting from Swiftie revisionist history and the need to engage in hyper analytical “lore” and muse hunting. A lot of people thing sad automatically = deep
