Mad Dog joined First Take and ranked Jalen Brunson OUTSIDE of the top five of New York athletes in the past 50 years 🤯

Incredible tweet. Friends - the days of punching up are over. We look down upon the discourse. The rest of the league. We no longer have to engage. Let the rest of em grapple with this new reality. We can just enjoy it. The war is over.

Has the NBA surpassed baseball as the second most popular sport?

Start spreading the news — we’re giving away 600 free tickets to Thursday’s Championship Ceremony at City Hall following the Knicks’ ticker-tape parade. The public lottery is open now and will close tomorrow, June 17, at 11 AM. Details at Knicks.com/CeremonySweeps.

Jalen Brunson on why he went to hug Spurs HC Mitch Johnson before his father after the win: "I hugged and said what's up to Coach Johnson from the Spurs first, just to show respect… It was just kind of instinct, like how I was raised. I think win or loss, you show respect regardless of the outcome. I’ve got a lot of respect for them over there." 💯♥️ (Via @CBSMornings)

Half true on this one If you’re not a championship team, the second apron is not smart. The Knicks are and you can justify bringing back their own free agents. Because if they don’t, the veteran minimum is the replacement.

"There's certain things in the NBA that you'd have to be suicidal to do. One of them is the second apron. Cannot go into the second apron. I'll write as big of a check as possible, but I can't write a check that goes into the second apron." - James Dolan on @CartonShowWFAN

"I am just 100% certain the reason he was crying after the Western Conference Finals was because he thought they had locked up the title. And he was in denial that the Knicks were better than them." @getnickwright says Wemby has a lot of growing up to do this offseason

There is little doubt soccer has taken on in America. The biggest problem soccer faces in the US is our domestic league. Nobody can watch the games, the best players don’t play here, and we don’t have relegation. It’s a joke. MLS needs to get serious. They’re going to blow this

This what leadership from a CHAMPION sounds like⤵️

"It's 100% a red card for Lionel Messi. It should've been." Ale Moreno and Nedum Onuoha react to Messi's challenge against Algeria's Aïssa Mandi.

El 11S si el piloto hubiera sido el terrorista de Ferrán Torres

ESPN has long been one of the biggest hurdles to soccer’s growth in the USA.
