@John_Zannis @NoaDalzell What's wild is two weeks everyone said Lebron's time in LA was a success with the bubble ring even with several seasons either missing the playoffs or first round exits and that's with Luka,AD and with great supporting players. If that's successful then Boston definitely is.

Here’s my take. Winning championships is hard. If you’re saying they underachieved it’s relative to expectations not peer comparison. If they’re truly the best duo in the NBA and both entered the league into winning situations, over the course of nine years more than one title I don’t think is an unreasonable expectation.

I think what we have learned from the NBA playoffs is veteran depth is key. Not just specialists but guys that can hoop. Celtics don't need to move the J's they need to add more basketball players. I'll be in on Simons coming back and someone like Fred Vanfleet. Hoopers.

@RealSkipBayless I mostly agree here but Brown actually led the league in turnovers so that's not really a feather in his cap. And only a few really thought the Celtics were actually in a gap year. Too much talent to be bottom of the east. But I think he earned first team.

For what Jaylen Brown did in the regular season on both ends, as the solo star on a "gap year" team that rose to 2nd in the East, he deserved 1st team over Luka Oncic, who led the NBA in turnovers per game and complaining to refs, took most FTs and 3s but average at both.

@Savageboston Exactly why they are losing. They got here playing basketball using their bigs to their advantage and after blowing that lead in game one they went full analytics and they are getting fried. Going whole halves without their bigs taking a shot is a fireable offense.

I have been making this argument for years on how to stop elite PG's. Make them work and they will wear themselves out. Harden was already gassed from game 7 and they forced him to defend and he was cooked. Cavs should have made Brunson defend instead they let him off the hook.

@Underdog It was exciting but that game had 38 turnovers (one guy had 12), 110 missed shots, over 50 missed 3's and the MVP shot 7-23. Wemby was hot but everyone else was pure trash.

I got the Cavs in 6 simply because of these two. They are a handful on both ends and they bring the physicality. I truly believe Towns will flop and cry the entire series instead of taking it to em. Oh and y'all keep paying Mitchell no mind...bro is a career 28ppg in the playoffs

There is a physical and athletic aspect to their game that Towns definitely doesn't have. Both of them can defend Wemby outside or inside. Watch the Cavs the rest of the way.

@Savageboston I would throw Lamar Jackson in that category too. Overnight he was two steps slow and instantly stopped being a threat on the ground. Lowest rushing yards of his career by 300 yards and lowest avg per carry. Sack% up as well. Runners don't get faster over time.

This is exactly what I’m talking about. Mahomes hasn’t been the same guy for a couple of years. Msybe he comes back strong after his ACL reconstruction, but he isn’t at the top tier right now

@Savageboston He’s regressed like derick white, going to be interesting how he bounces back from the injury with an even older Kelce. Rice a whole season should help though. I’d drop him out of S tier though especially coming off this injury. Still himmy, noticeable downtrend
