Look who we found in the basement at @fox4kc! Actually, we let @realfrankboal in to find sports archival video for a project he’s working on. He came up with 3/4” tapes from ‘91. So good to see you, Frank!

Just flipping the channels around, I landed on the opening minutes of an episode of The Rockford Files that included a chase scene. It was there that I noticed a rather jarring inconsistency. Let’s see if you can figure it out. 🙂

@KSeaboldt I watched the same episode and went to IMDB. They verified it was that way. I think a 72 and a 75.

The episode I was watching was the sixth episode of the first season which was done in 1974. It would’ve been impossible to have a 1977 Firebird in 1974. Apparently, when the episode was converted to a two-parter for syndication, they added a shot from a later episode.
