It’s funny following the national reax to another Duke meltdown. I get it. Fun to see for some. Evil empire, etc. From someone who grew up there and closely covered the ACC for a long time, especially in the Triangle … Duke is not the most insufferable bunch in that ‘hood.

This result isn’t a shock. We’re an erratic side at best and that leads to erratic results. The odd result against sub standard opposition in Europe will not save Slot. Our season will soon be over and we’ll need the next manager to start again, because we’re a mess.

I might be in the minority here but I still look forward to every LFC game. As human beings, we choose our interests and what we want to use our time for. There are things in life you can’t influence and being a football is the perfect example. Things won’t always go smoothly and you will have to deal with it. You won’t stop loving the club, that’s just impossible. You are still going to watch every game. Only thing you can influence is your perception of the situation. You learn to work with the frustration so that you can still enjoy watching the game. Because in the end, this was your decision and you have chosen this path alongside your beloved football team.

@RoryGreenfield I’m frustrated too. It just blows my mind that one off season means the exit for Slot when he won the Holy Grail last year. Klopp had off years as well. Happy for respectfully conversation about it. No one is happy with the results this year.

@RoryGreenfield We can’t count on him. He hasn’t shown either fitness or ability at a Liverpool level. Which is an insanely high bar, to be fair. If he comes good, great, but you are absolutely right…we need to buy the best RB we can for our playing style.
