@Greg1Garrett @Baylor Harry Potter was a formative reading for me as a child and as a teen--it's been hard to reconcile the series' message with her comments. There have been countless collegiate courses on LOTR/Narnia which have similar/lower lexile levels--thank you for adding this to the throng.

Today in my Harry Potter class @Baylor, we had a hard and necessary conversation about JK Rowling and her hatred of trans- people. We decided novelist Rowling, who wrote with compassion about diversity, equity, and inclusion, is worth our attention. Twitter Rowling? Shame on her.

i see so many men pushing strollers, carrying diaper bags, and having the kids all weekend while mom goes on a girls’ trip. the millennial dads are setting a new standard for what parenting looks like as a father 🫶🏼
