Yesterday I spent all day at Universal Orlando’s Epic Universe. Wow.
Stayed at Stella Nova. Short walking path to Epic. Great resort no complaints.

It dawned on me. Grand Floridian is HER Contemporary. So, while she was asleep (and the rest of my family), I did something. Her reaction when she saw this made it all worth it. I didn’t want her waiting 36 years like I did.

Random: last night at dinner, my 14 y/o daughter was mentioning how the Grand Floridian is her dream resort stay and how she would cry if she got the opportunity to. When we passed by on the monorail on our way back to the Contemporary, she mentioned how amazing it would be, again.

@Savethedmagic I don’t know IP or not just went to Epic for the first time yesterday and it was so over the top better than Disney has done recently I was amazed.

@Wildest_Ride That is so awesome he has those memories. I don’t understand people saying littles aren’t old enough. My best memories of my girls is seeing them grow up through trips to the World. From babies to now as teenagers.

Some of the fondest memories my oldest — who's not even halfway to 8 yet — has of his mom are at Disney World. When we go to places we'd frequent as a family, he talks about his mom happily.

This is why you need to wait until your kids are 8+ to take them to Disney. They need to be well out of the nap era, able to walk 20k steps and not whine, and most importantly - be able to appreciate and remember it. No reason to take babies or toddlers to Disney.
