Florida Bay. The threshold between the Everglades and the Keys. Paddle with me through mangrove channels where crocodiles bask, wading birds patrol the shallows, and American flamingos have quietly returned to the Everglades. Wild Florida at its finest.

@actionxander Everyday I crossed the border until March 13, 2020. That Friday the new question from the border guard was had I been to Iran in the last 24-48 hours. We looked at each other and snorted because we both knew I had crossed into Canada 24 hrs ago.

6 years ago today I was in Canada for a snowboarding trip with the boys. We had just gone dog sledding when we got news they were closing the border because of the pandemic. Crazy times.
