@sophiearumble @fluffy_scrawler Wow! The tokens (multiples of 6 I believe!) and the fact that my Dad would only fill up at Esso! I believe my parents still have a few in daily use!!!!! (Belated Happy Birthday to you too! 🥂🥳💐)

@sophiearumble @fluffy_scrawler How lovely! Esso glasses…that made me chuckle (and show my age!) 🍷

@nicolajharvey @MrBoothY6 Absolutely not! Medal and celebrations very deserved!

@MrBoothY6 Congrats! 🥳 I qualified in 1996. I wonder if it would be self indulgent to celebrate 30 years in July?

Got the title for this from @tracyswinburne1 There is nothing in here that is new, or original, but if I had known this as a new teacher it would have helped me.

@llewelyn20 @tracyswinburne1 Share widely! Another spot on, easy but crucial read for all.
IMHO best sentence:
“If they think you are fair, and you care for them, they will thrive in your classroom.”
English

@llewelyn20 Also worried about the potential tipping point of re-doing everything before high school, like we already don't do this. But if it becomes a more formal thing you can bet it will down to primaries to do all the graft.
English

@llewelyn20 Thought the same…also that we’re going to need a lot more EPs for all the reassessing at end of primary

@llewelyn20 Hope you’re en route to the pub! It’ll be 6 by the time you get there - perfectly respectable!

I have written another blog, this time about Inclusion. Such a buzz word, but I have been getting annoyed with half baked theories and abstract language, so I hope this helps. Barely scratches the surface of the topic though, I think...

@llewelyn20 Absolutely spot on, IMHO, once again…and rather reminds me of exactly what I was trying to achieve in my classroom circa 1998! Please keep writing!
