The Trump Admin admits that its projections of how many tourists would come to the US after he took office were way off. Now World Cup fans are picking games in Mexico & Canada over the U.S. & it’s not hard to guess why. He is driving people away and hurting our economy.

Just got back from the local produce stand. Prices are outrageous: $27 for a pie, $10 for a loaf of blueberry bread, $20 for a jar of honey, and $10 for a small watermelon. It’s absolutely sinful what the government (both sides of the aisle) is doing to Americans. I despise them all equally.

You walk through a grocery store now and it feels unreal. $10 apples. $8 cereal. $11 eggs. Same store. Same paycheck. Different reality. And people are just expected to absorb it.

@TomSteyer Tom, are you going to force them into treatment or put them in jail if they do not go? Many will not go into a shelter because they can do their drugs on the street but not in a shelter.

The best way to address homelessness is by keeping people off the streets. If they do end up there, then we need to get them shelter as quickly as possible.

At our city-owned grocery stores, staples like eggs and bread will actually be affordable. And we're going to do it the right way, without cutting workers' pay or dignity. Because in the wealthiest city in this country, buying groceries shouldn't be an unsolvable equation. It should be simple, fair, and within reach for everyone.

We need a budget that PROTECTS OUR PUBLIC LANDS. Trump is planning to cut 3,000 National Park staff–& this is after a quarter of staff were pushed out ALREADY.   I told Sec. Burgum that’s a recipe for disaster. I’ll be throwing Trump’s budget in the trash & writing a new one.
