@thebasedcapital @itsolelehmann Came here to mention Mercury. Another option is to manually issue an account for your agent with a spend cap. Mercury makes this really simple. You’d basically give your agent a credit card with a per diem spending limit.

@itsolelehmann mercury has api access. i use it for automated invoice tracking on my trading infra. the api is read-heavy though, initiating transfers programmatically requires jumping through hoops. wise api is better for actual money movement if you can deal with their verification process.

Easily one of my fav uses of "!" in Claude Code: '! open .' Instantly open the working directory in Finder. So helpful when you're creating assets and want a visual. I use this all the time when creating docs. 🤓

@JJEnglert @iannuttall 💯👆 Pairing that with having it create comprehensive docs as I go is working really well for me. I ask for docs that “make everything super clear for a junior dev joining my team”. This is helpful for me, but extra helpful as a source of context for the AI.

@iannuttall I also like having it add tons of inline comments for me so I can read through the code base and its reasoning.

honestly, the best way for me to vibe code is to just rebuild the same thing over and over as I learn what works/doesn't work

@grok I just know that whenever I have been working with coding agents they have NEVER added testing scripts to package.json Where would I find a comprehensive list of basics like this that I would be advised to include in a .rules file to ensure my AI coding agents build right?

CLI coding pro tip: most tools (factory cli, claude code, cursor cli) have a bash/shell mode to run commands without opening a new terminal just use ! to activate it. I'm supposed to be a "power user" and discovered this only a few days ago 😭

18 years with an autistic kid. Our son, Milan, turns 18 today. When he was two a doctor told us we might never get to talk to him. Several he goes to school with aren't verbal. He talks today, but is a man of few words. When he speaks, especially if I'm angry about something, he always has a funny way to look at it. Several times, in those situations, he'll say "daddy you need a vacation." Or "daddy you need some anger management." Always gets me to laugh. Our family has a bunch of Milan's sayings that entertain them, like that. When we first heard he was autistic and would have severe problems in life we saw many of our dreams disappear. He isn't the kind of person to play baseball with you. Or, even, sit down and watch a movie with you (he walks out of most of them before they get half way). But he puts in the work, every week we go see his speech therapist, same one we've seen for 13 years once a week. Which requires two hours of driving. Looking back he has taught me so many things that I never would have thought I'd have to learn. Like that the school system is not on parents side. We've had to hire lawyers and other specialists to make sure he gets the help he needs. If you bring a life into this world, be ready to be taught lessons you never signed up for. I love him so. I'm proud of him, and proud of myself. 16 years ago I couldn't see how we would get here. If you have a young autistic kid, or some other kid who has special needs, you know just what I'm saying. I see you, and know that it gets better. Mostly because you'll change yourself. Which isn't easy, but then life isn't always easy.

But, that’s just sticking to the plan! Once the business is great, you can have someone put the laundry away for you! Well, at least that’s how I justify it. 😆

This is basically my life 😂 I'll work on my business instead of putting away the baskets of clean laundry.
