@queertyyr In my experience of editing journals we would review each chapter separately with different people. But I think it would be personal preference of the editorial team.
Academic question google isn’t helping with: when an edited collection is peer-reviewed, is it reviewed as one whole, or are the chapters reviewed separately by different people?
@TJCleaver He couldn’t have just spoken to a medieval historian, or, one of the archaeologists working on the site he was reporting on? What’s wrong with journalists.
