My brother just became a yak farmer in Alberta and was telling me about all the environmental and health benefits yak have over cows and other meats. Are there any yak farms locally? Where would I buy yak meat in Guelph?

Had an amazing evening door knocking. So many people answered the door & said, “Erin! I’m voting for you!” Made up for the rain. Thanks to @MY_KINDA_SEX_ED for knitting me these bags, they made excellent canvassing totes.

Our two-month-old son was on a ventilator at the children's hospital when you attacked my husband for being with his family. I watched him take calls and Zooms from our hospital room all day, managing crisis after crisis while our son's heart monitor beeped in the background.

@erin I should add that if it fits right, it's the most effective.

@erin The N95 covers you even if others aren't masking. She shouldn't demask for eating or drinking if others aren't masked around her.

Bought my mom a ticket to come see us just before the pandemic but they are making her book by May for the credit. Do we feel late summer might be okay-ish to travel? Rather risk the credit than my mom.

@erin Those wearing masks with higher efficacy are still protected even though others may not be masked. That's the point of the N95. The unmasked still are more able to spread, yes. She could also wear a face shield if she was so inclined.

@lex For sure will have a bunch of N95’s sent her way. Just worried about the effectiveness being reduced if they allow plane travel without masks for others.

Know what's really fun? Trying to report a power outage when your area barely gets 1 bar of cell service. I don't even have 1 best of LTE right now. I've got H+. Come on Canada. I live 10 minutes outside of a town (that has cell service)

@CodySmith_73 @erin Basic legible printing is where it's at. There are still instances where handwriting is needed, but you are right, holding of the pencil is not the be-all end- all.

@erin May I ask what’s wrong with the way she currently holds a pencil? So long as her printing is legible & its comfortable for her, I don’t see what the issue is & the school/teachers are making a big deal out of nothing.

Got my daughter pencil grips to help her hold her pencil ‘correctly’. I tried one and realized I do not hold my pencil like that at all and it made my whole hand cramp up and hurt. These grips are like tiny hand jails.

As of this morning there are 222 COVID cases in Kashechewan. 144 are children - as young as 7 weeks. Many children already have compromised lungs and immune systems from mould. @MarcMillerVM's office told the community to keep COVID cases in homes that are massively overcrowded.
