@AnneMcLean1961 @PCS_NC I think they mean his total years as a NC superintendent which includes other districts besides the 10 years in Pitt.

OTD in 2013 ... The PCS Board of Education unanimously voted to appoint Dr. Ethan Lenker as its new superintendent. Ten years later, he is now the longest-serving superintendent in N.C. Congratulations on this remarkable anniversary and thank you for your impactful leadership.
