Y13 chemistry support please! My students have finished the course and doing really well. Churned their way through zillions of past paper questions. Does anyone have a ready made resource suitable for pushing the top end of AQA chemistry?

@adamboxer1 Doesn’t the recent ofsted science report elude to the fact it’s too big to fit properly in two years. Seems to report positively of schools starting GCSE in yr9 .Which is rather at odds with what they have said previously on the subject.

To be clear - I am not asking for curriculum reform or assessment reform. I am asking for the evidence re feasibility of implementation in 2 years.
My suspicion is that it isn't feasible. And that a *reduction* is needed. I have argued for this in the past based on experience.

Imagine writing a national curriculum or scheme of work that will affect millions of children
Then predict that it will take x time to teach
It's then taught for 10 years
And imagine never evaluating your prediction
Thats the scam the DfE, ofqual and exam boards are playing

@Science_AQA Great idea! I have a question: have you evaluated your combined science course at all in the 10 odd years since it was published? I'm especially interested in the time scales amd whether you have survey data about feasibility of implementing in 2 years.

Does anyone know what the airplay code is when you mirror your phone to the tv?
I have a small black Apple TV box. I used to mirror my phone just fine. Now it is asking for a code and I have no clue.
Any idea how I can mirror my phone on the tv? My Body Pump depends on it!!

@Miss_Snuffy Normally when you mirror a code will appear either on the phone to type into the TV or the other way around.

@AhmedKhattabUK Maybe they don’t think they can improve as they don’t know how or what to improve. It’s a line managers/SLTs job to help them and show them how too. Imagine this attitude in elite sports. I could never imagine Klopp or Gaurdiola just firing people

This toxic attitude in schools is a reason schools struggle to recruit and retain teachers.
Don't fire them, firstly show them what's possible, coach them, guide them.
Often a teacher doesn't think they can improve coz the behavioural conditions are so bad, 'Fire those slt?'

Our kids have them and get them out at the beginning of every lesson. They're not left around classrooms with pen lids on floors. They're in kids bags ready to use.
It's the only way imo having expeir3icned every variation of use

Mini white boards are so effective that it has to be part of the kid's school equipment. Surely £1k on 1500 mini white boards is worth it.
I've seen pens priced at 500 for 100 pounds.
So you're looking at 5k for 1500 boards and 1000s of pens.
